Active since 1982, WWVU-FM (also known as U92FM The Moose) is the source of new music and student development in West Virginia. We pride ourselves on taking risks, breaking ground, and learning through hands-on education. We broadcast terrestrially at 91.7 FM in the greater Morgantown, WV area and everywhere in the world through this app!

Along with news, sports, campus events and whats spinning in our regular rotation, The Moose also hosts a number of specialty shows ranging from Metal to Reggae, Electronica to Classical, Global Artists to Local Artists. We also air live news/political shows about the days hottest topics, and live sports coverage of our beloved Mountaineers!

Q. Can I use this app on a data connection?
A. No - the way the station transmits its signal means wifi MUST be enabled on your mobile device.

Q. What happens if I drop my wifi connection? Or theres a glitch in the transmission in Morgantown?
A. Use the handy-dandy refresh button! It will also re-establish a "live" feed if youve had it paused for a while.

Q. I dont see an X button - how do I close this thing?
A. The U92 app is designed to keep playing in the background while you use other apps, and even after your phone goes into sleep mode. (Dont worry, it automatically pauses during phone calls.) To close, simply go to your Recent Apps screen and swipe to dismiss. The apps pause button is also an option.
